Princess Protection Program starlet Selena Gomez is one of the fastest rising singer, actresses in Hollywood. As she closes in on a deal with Hollywood Records, she revealed her musical recording aspirations to Popstar!
'I want to start on my album this year, actually. I'm excited. I'm going to do it a little bit differently than the other Disney Channel stars have done it. I'm going to be in a band. I would like to be in a band. I want to be the female lead singer..
..and then four guys in a band. Kind of like Paramore. Just something a little bit different, like maybe a girl version of the Jonas Brothers. My musical style is more rock, but I definitely love slow, passionate songs with a Christina Aguilera feel, so it's going to be a mixture of both.'Selena said that her musical idols are, 'Paramore, for sure, which gave me the inspiration of being in a band. She's so confident and she's a girl and she's gotten a lot of stuff for being a girl and being in a band, but now look at where she is after all that she's gone through. I admire her very much.

Demi got Backstabbed!

Not only did Demi Lovato have to face the rejection of Hollywood, she also had to deal with being backstabbed by her best friends. Demi revealed to J-14 in an intimate interview:
'I think getting backstabbed by a friend is part of growing up. There were girls that I dealt with at school I thought were my best friends, who just turned on me, and that made it really hard. In the cafeteria, the girls spread rumors and called me mean names. They were being bullies. There were times..
..where I would call my mom crying and say, 'Please take me out of school!'' It's better to tell someone. Sometimes they can't do anything because it's verbal abuse, but don't let it affect you.
Girls will be more vicious than boys. You can't listen to it and give them what they want. I didn't give in to what they wanted or fight them. You have to be like, 'If that's how you feel, great. I'm going to do what I love.'

Demi Lovato insecure about her Cleft chin!

During a recent photo shoot, Camp Rock starlet Demi Lovato revealed to J-14 magazine that she was teased about her cleft chin in school and now she's self- conscious about it.
To make Demi feel better, the interview said, 'Sandra Bullock and Angie Harmon, they have one, and they're both from Texas!' At least she finally got the gap in her teeth fixed!

My opinion On Selena & Demi

I think that selena gomez and demi lovato are two amazing girls! They both are amazingly talented singers and they both are great actress's! I am so glad that Selena is in wizards, when that show comes on, i am watching it, until it goes off even if it is a marathon! I absoloutly love wizards! I am so glad Demi is on As the bell rings, thats acually the only reason i started watching it, but now i am adicted to it! i love it!! But i reallly hope that demi doesn't get replaced, unless she wants to, And i hope As the bell rings, is made 30 minutes long! I would LOVEE that!!

Hopes & Dreams: Too meet Demi & Selena IN PERSON. i wish just one day we could just hang out. They seem like really funny, ourgoing, down 2 earth, just plain amazing girls, and i think thats the kind of friend everyone wants! Someone they know they can joke around with! And i think that selena and Demi are just like that!! <3

Lindsey Black, 16, is set to replace Demi Lovato in the new season of Disney Channel's As The Bell Rings. Lindsay hales from Colleyville, Texas, the same state as Demi, Selena, Cody, etc. She is also an aspiring singer. +2 under!
In the ASBR premiere, although Danny is sad Charlotte has moved, his spirits are lifted when the gang introduces him to Lexi and he realizes he's met her before. Lexi finds her niche in the group, and becomes Danny's muse as he writes a song! (picture is lindsey black!)
